I have been reading about the latest round of Catholic church scandals in Ireland and Germany. It brings to mind an old nursery rhyme:
The Catholic Church sat on a wall,
The Catholic Church had a great fall,
All the Pope's men,
And all the Pope's horses,
Couldn't put the Catholic Church together again.
